Our Aircraft
We operate both rotor-wing and fixed-wing aircraft: AS350 Squirrel Helicopter and Ski Plane Pilatus Porter P-C6.
Our Helicopters can take up to a 5 passengers plus gear and our Ski Plane can take up to 7 passengers plus gear.
DOC Intentions Forms
These must be completed by anyone going to any of the Alpine Huts (climbers & skiers). You can do this at the DOC Visitors Centre in Aoraki/Mt.Cook Village, or we do have a few spare forms if you forget. For the hunting huts, you are not required to complete these forms.
Backloads and Combining Flights
We will always do our best to offer backloads or to combine flights – tis works really well for both you and us! Backloads can only be confirmed on the day of your flight. When merging with other groups to make a full load, please consider that the maximum for dangerous goods is per aircraft load, not per group. We will certainly make sure that we try and offer backloads/merged flights where possible.
Dangerous Goods
In accordance with Civil Aviation Authority, you will be required to declare any dangerous goods. We are restricted on the carriage of Dangerous Goods, the following may be carried provided that they are for recreational use of the passengers:
