We were supposed to be going for the helicopter and ski plane tour, but due to winds, the ski plane couldn’t land on the glacier, but the team quickly emailed us and offered just the helicopter flight instead. It was one of the best experience we all have ever had! The pilot was great and was very knowledgeable. When we landed on top of the mountain, he even offered to take photos of everyone with our cameras, which was very nice. And the views were AMAZING. I got some great photos that just wouldn’t have been possible from the ground. We all definitely want to do it again!

Absolutely AMAZING experience! 🤩🚁✈️ Being able to experience both the sky plane and helicopter was honestly the best combination and made the experience even more special. The views were absolutely breathtaking — something we will remember for a very long time! All the staff were so friendly, welcoming and professional from start to finish, which made the whole experience even better. Without a doubt, this was one of the absolute highlights — and the best holiday experience we’ve had in New Zealand! 🇳🇿❤️ Highly recommended! If you’re visiting NZ, this is an experience you definitely shouldn’t miss! 🚁❄️🏔️

Skilled and knowledgeable pilots. There was time for photos for everyone, and to soak in the experience on the glacier – I didn’t feel rushed. Being able to ride a helicopter and a ski plane added some variety, and allowed everyone to have a different view. It was a beautiful day, which was a nice bonus

The highlight of my visit to NZ. Even though the original experience I booked was cancelled due to cloud cover, they offered another experience that was incredible. A heli landing on a snow capped mountain directly facing Aoraki. Pilots were friendly and knowledgeable and ensured a smooth trip around the mountains. I’ll be back for another experience in February with my children

Amazing experience! Definitely worth it! Amazing staff on ground and on board! If ever given the chance again, I would definitely come back for another time! Only thing is I wish the time spent on the glacier was longer

Had an amazing Tasman taster helicopter ride with my son with Mark the pilot. My Father George Harris climbed the Caroline face of Mt Cook and made history so I wanted my son to see this. Mark helped make this dream come true. I will always be so grateful to him and enjoyed his company also because he’s a nice guy. Id very much recommend anyone to take this trip of a lifetime its awesome 👏

We had an unforgettable and wonderful adventure doing the Grand Circle helicopter flight. The experience was smooth from start to finish! The pilot was very experience and the whole flight was a breeze despite some minor turbulences. Seeing the 3 glaciers from up above and the landing on the Tasman is really a once in a lifetime experience. I cannot recommend it enough.

This was a fantastic once-in-a-lifetime experience. Neither of us had ever flown in a helicopter before, and it was amazing to take off and fly through the valleys while making beautiful turns. It gave us an incredible feeling. Walking on the glacier can be an unforgettable experience for people who have never seen snow, or have seen very little of it. It is an absolute must-do and highly recommended.

Superb experience – from booking through pickup, pre-flight briefing, and return back to accommodation. The Grand Circle flight in the ski-plane was simply amazing. Unforgettable to be so close to Aoraki Mount Cook and everything else we explored, and great information shared by the pilot. Grins from ear-to-ear

Our heli experience was brilliant. Firstly the company contacted us the day before to let us know the weather wasn’t great for our scheduled flight. As we had allowed time in our itinerary, they rescheduled us to the following day which was spectacular. So they are very experienced in predicting what the weather will be like and do everything to make sure you fly in the best possible conditions. At check in the staff were incredibly friendly and answered all our questions. Our pilot was very experienced, knowledgeable about the mountains and landed us superbly on the snow, took photos for us and joked and laughed with us. It was just the most fantastic experience, brilliant people. The mountains and the glaciers are breathtaking. We will be back!

It was brilliant. Maybe we could have made better use of the landed time on the glacier. We just stood around for 15mins not sure. A couple of photos we took but could have been better prepared of what expect and suggestions.

My partner and I had an amazing time on the 45 minute scenic flight over Mt Cook, the staff at check in were very lovely and welcoming, the aircrafts were in great condition and the pilot did exceptionally well with flying the plane and providing both a smooth landing on the snow in the mountains and back at the airport. Highly recommend anyone visiting Mt Cook to add this to their itinerary.

Our experience was out of this world. The service, check in, professionalism were perfect. We chose the 08:30 one hour flight and could not be happier. All the staff in the office were very friendly and communicated all the important information clearly before departure. Our glacier guide was highly professional and knowledgeable. She shared a lot of interesting facts about the glacier while also taking great care of the group. She was especially attentive to female members who might need assistance when crossing ice crevasses, and she kindly helped take photos for us in the blue cave. Overall, I really enjoyed the tour!

The experience was extraordinary from beginning to end. Although I was somewhat apprehensive regarding how turbulent and tricky the flight might be, given that we’d be flying close to mountains and vallies, it turned out to be completely smooth and comfortable. The pilots of both vehicles were professional and very good at their jobs, and took pains to not only ensure our safety, but also to give us great views of the glacier and the mountains. I promise you the flights are worth every penny.

I booked my combo flight the night before and am so glad I did. I was picked up at the Mt Cook Lodge and brought to the office. Important to know is not to worrry about hats, scraves and gloves as you cannot take them with you. Dress warmly as it is cold if you do a glacier landing. Loved having the opportunity to be on two different aircraft. The helicopter can get closer to the mountains, but the ski plane was also a smooth ride and great overview. We had great pilots and the check in staff were friendly and helpful as well. I have done several helicopter rides: Alaska and Kauai. This one was equally as impressive and it was nice to get close to Aoraki and the glacier. Highly recommend this ride and know the 45 minutes in the air still goes very quick.

The helicopter flight over Mount Cook and the Tasman Glacier was absolutely breathtaking — stunning views of snow-capped peaks, massive icefalls, and turquoise glacial lakes the whole way. We only booked our 25 minute “Taster flight” last minute and the longer duration flights were sold out. However, the 25 minutes we had was an amazing experience and the highlight of our trip thus far. From arriving at the Mt Cook airport until we disembarked from our flight, we found the staff friendly and efficient and professional.
We had plenty of time on the glacier to capture the amazing scenes and our pocket was informative, friendly and helpful throughout. I highly recommend this experience. Booking ahead is essential.

We had an absolutely amazing 45 flight onto a glacier. The outbound trip was on a propeller plane and the inbound trip was on a helicopter. I think we were lucky to have this setup. The weather was on our side so we had incredible views. During the flight the pilots pointed out landmarks and info about the scenery. What a trip! Very well organised and professional. The Pilatus Porter aircraft was perfectly adapted to the trip. The views were simply stunning but the highlight of the trip was landing on a snowy plateau high in the mountains. I would book to do it again in an instant (if my wife was paying)!

The feeling of passengers before departure, during the flight and after landing is very important and the good mood, smile and positive attitude of every member of the airline can contribute to this. That is exactly what we felt and so we put our trust in the professionalism of the team. For many of your passengers, such a helicopter flight or landing on a glacier is a unique moment that will never be repeated and in addition to the beauty, they will also remember how they felt.
