We recommend you book in advance so you don’t miss out on this amazing experience. You can easily book with us on-line, or contact us via phone or email.
We suggest booking for your first day in Aoraki/Mount Cook, so that if the weather isn’t ideal, we may be able to reschedule.

We recommend you make your reservation once you have confirmed dates for arriving in Mt. Cook.

We require a minimum of four people for a trip to be confirmed.

There is ample free parking at the Mount Cook Airport.

Please ensure that you allow sufficient time to travel to our base at the Aoraki/Mount Cook Airport, Mt Cook Road, State Highway 80 safely. The drive is stunningly scenic, and you may want to stop along the way.
We have strict safety briefing and aviation scheduling times so are unable to delay a trip departure if you are running late. Missing your trip would result in still having to pay for your trip regardless as we have held your place/s especially for you.
We recommend that you take out full travel insurance.

All trips depart from Aoraki/Mount Cook Airport, 6kms before reaching the Mount Cook Village.

Rest assured that tours booked directly with us are fully refundable if there is a cancellation due to the weather. We will do our best to work with you to reschedule your Ski The Tasman experience to suit your travel plans.

Please check your activity details carefully for your report time. If your booking is impacted by COVID-19 travel restrictions and border closures you will receive a full refund.

Passengers 116kg and over will only be able to fly depending on the weights of other passengers on the day, at check-in.

Dress warmly, bring a spare pair of gloves and in general we say wear one extra layer of clothing than what you normally would if you were spending a day on the ski field.

Runs are 8-10kms long and depending on fitness and ski experience, one run will take around 1-2 hours to complete, however you won’t want to miss exploring the canyons or snow caves which may appear along the way!

Our Ski The Tasman runs are intermediate blue slopes meaning most skiers are able to enjoy the Tasman Glacier comfortably. Although the runs are not steep, they sometimes can have challenging snow conditions. Yes, conditions pending on the day it may be possible to complete a third run of the Tasman, please talk to your guide on the day.In which case we will ski slowly and carefully enjoying the spectacular scenery.

No. Selfie sticks and drones are a safety hazard and are not permitted on our flights.

Yes, albeit the Ski The Tasman slopes are comfortable intermediate blue runs, you do need to be a competent skier to make the most of your Ski The Tasman experience.

Just bring everything that you would normally ski with on a ski field. Add one extra layer of clothing.
Skis should ideally be wider than 90mm under foot.

All safety equipment is included in our trips. Lunches can be ordered at additional cost in advance with us prior to your ski date, we do have a limited number of skis available for use, however we cannot guarantee a size that fits.
For best comfort and enjoyment we recommend bringing your own skis and boots, ensuring 90mm underfoot for the best powder turns!
